Ian Cameron
Ian Cameron recently joined The McQuaig Institute® as Managing Director. Ian brings with him more than 20 years of Human Resource and Organizational Development consulting experience. Throughout his career Ian's focus has been on helping organizations realize their goals through their people and helping them live their passion through their work. After spending five years selling for NCR and Xerox, Ian found a true calling in the role of Career Consultant at The Hayhurst Career Centre. There he helped hundreds of individuals discover and apply their true aspirations to a career path and ultimately "get the right job".
Ian then turned his efforts to the corporate world when he joined Scott Consulting. He became the Toronto Practice Leader at Scott where he helped organizations communicate and implement change and new direction in support of evolving business strategies. For the past 11 years Ian has worked with the world's largest interpersonal skills training company, AchieveGlobal, as a Senior Consultant and most recently as the Vice President of Training Implementations. During this time Ian worked with organizations such as Rogers, Cadillac Fairview, The Co-operators, Leon's, CIBC Mellon and Keyera Energy to help them align and implement people development initiatives to business goals and strategies.
Ian has facilitated workshops on implementing organizational change, leadership development and sales and customer improvement to hundreds of managers, sales and service professionals. He is an engaging keynote speaker who is always able to help his audience discover how to develop and attune people's skills, interests and motivation to organizational goals and strategies. As a consultant with McQuaig he is excited to help client organizations create a strong match between their people and the work that they do. As Managing Director he works to ensure that the Institute is well positioned to support the highest priority needs of their clients.
